Election for President- Ulysses Grant-vice Schuyler, Colfax (Republican)

Opponents -President Horatio Seymore-vice Frank P. Blair

District 2 begins at top of Clinch Mountain and runs to Clinch River. 27 people including Iredell Willis, known as I. Irdell Willis killed William O Sizemore 11 Oct 1867, so almost a year later Willis was voting in a presidential Election. Note, no one voted for Grant or Seymore. Dewitt C. Senter was elected Governor of Tennessee, but in this election he and his opponent Horace W. Harrison each got 19 votes.
